A Database Architect is needed on a mission-critical classified program. Experience all aspects of database architecture in a MongoDB environment is required.

MULTIPLE LOCATION OF THIS ON-SITE POSITION: Either State College, PA or Dulles, VA or Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX

TIME REQUIREMENTS: This is a full-time position for a time period of at least 6 months. With the right qualifications, the position could be much longer.

REQUIRED TO GET AN INTERVIEW:

• Clearance requirements: This position requires an active and transferable TS/SCI U.S government issued security clearance prior to start date
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• (STEM) and Six (6) years of software engineering experience
• Six (6) years of experience in database design and architecture in a MongoDB environment including experience with:
  • Mongo Query performance tuning
  • Mongo pipelines
  • Architecting large data solutions
• Database and system-level debugging experience including the ability to identify problems in established code and make modifications as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Software development experience in Java
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience with AWS environment
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with OpenSearch
• Experience working in the Intelligence Community
• Experience with relational databases and other non-relational databases
• Experience with satellite communication systems and protocols is highly preferred
• Master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
