Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Construction or general contractor experience is a plus.
- Direct experience estimating or bidding such work is also a plus
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute with an accuracy of at least 90%.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Industry background in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and has worked in the field and an office setting.
- Experience with bidding, quotes, problem-solving, ordering parts, and customer service.
- Experience with field service tech deployment into the field.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to deal effectively with discounts, percentages, proportions and currency conversion.
- Ability to read and analyze business information.
- Presentation and customer service interaction skills.
- Responsibilities of the Field Service Coordinator:
- Fully support the service business and opportunities throughout the Americas.
- Handle day-to-day customer requests, such as providing price and availability, and communicating the status of quotes, orders, and shipments.
- Work with customers primarily via telephone and email to determine product or project specifications related to service capabilities.
- Create quotes and provide technical documents to customers when needed.
- Regularly follow up on active quotations and work with outside sales, Market Development Managers, or others as needed to put in the best possible position to win the business.
- Routinely update customer records in Navpoint for accuracy and completeness during and after customer interactions.
- Develop a basic understanding of products and the applications in which they are used.
- Collect and record details related to pending, active, and completed Service projects and sales orders.
- Coordinate with the Field Service Group, Sales, customers, etc. for scheduling and completion of Service jobs.
- Outbound call and email customers as assigned for follow-up, lead qualification, prospecting, and other business development activities.
- Travel is infrequent. However, travel to support a trade show or occasional visits to a customer's facility or job site may be necessary to support the customer; facilitate learning; or improve knowledge of applications, markets, field issues, or usage of products.
- After initial training this position can be Hybrid and work from home 2 days a week.
