OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs.
- Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
- Solve hardware and software issue and you will have trouble shooting skills
- Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
- Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
- Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

REQUIRED TO GET AN INTERVIEW:
- Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Must have Linux experience
- Must be able to obtain transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification* (or higher) or acquire one within 2 months of start date. Inability to meet this certification requirement within that timeframe may result in termination.
- Experience with scripting, particularly in Bash and Python
- Experienced using and developing with automation tools/frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
- Experience with recent versions of VMware (ESXi and vCenter) ZFS Storage administration experience
- Experience administering Windows based systems including Active Directory and group policies Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common services such as DNS, sendmail, and LDAP Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency
- Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors
