Job Summary of the Welder:
We are looking to hire a Full-Time experienced Welder who can read blueprints. 1st shift opportunity.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Welder:
- Operate various pieces of equipment, including hand plasma, saws, brake press, and deburring equipment.
- Weld quality parts set by blueprint specifications using jigs when available, while meeting production standard times.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Be safe in all operations of the job.
Education & Experience Requirements of the Welder:
- Requires a High School degree or GED.
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Must be able to lay out parts and fabricate as needed.
- Requires an on-site weld test prior to placement. (Mig)
- Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions, decimals, and angles.
- Must be able to utilize various measurement tools, including but not limited to square, angle square, calipers, and tape measure (to 1/32”).
- Use of wrenches, air tools, hand-held grinders, overhead cranes, steel handling and lifting skills.
- Forklift experience or ability to train on the operation of a forklift.
